THE JIROSHI, the Children of Midnight, of Jihon  Jorishi electively augment themselves at will.  Some individuals have a greater desire for it than others, and generally as they get older and degenerate, the augments will grow in number as they work to extend their lifespan.  Jiroshi favour 2 handed powered weaponry, relying on their superior armour for defence.  They frequently utilise arc technology, either to empower a metal blade or in replacement of one.  Jiroshi craft extremely strong powered armour, heavily sculpted and crackling with power.  The sculpted iconographies usually resemble their mythological namesakes: each Jiroshi is named after mythical creatures eg Leviathan, Behemoth, Ifrit, Basilisk, Hydra etc

Children of the God of Midnight, Ector Jiro. They are tall; taller than a Nidean.  They are said to be originally born from their father Jiro and his human concubines.  The Jiroshi and much of the human population of the Jiroshi Continent live within vast hive cities. The Jiroshi prefer to keep their blood and customs pure, avoiding mixing with humans too much, only when absolutely necessary.  The human population is not enslaved as such, but the Jiroshi regime gives all of the power in the hives to the Jiroshi and none to the men, forcing the men to bend to Jiroshi will.  Even though the Jiroshi are few and the men many, revolts against the regime have been crushed over and over throughout history.  Outside of the hives, Jiroshi presence is limited; they maintain small fortresses in key positions, from which they can watch and if needed crush any of the nomadic human populations that pass near, and also observe the Cambion from safety.  Technically the Jiroshi rule the Continent, but many say the cambion are the true rulers.  Men within the Jiroshi hives are only augmented so that they may do their jobs, not used to extend lifetimes or treat disease.  They must petitiion the Jiroshi for mods, so a large underground market is present.  Men are only armed via the black market and weapons will be seized when found.  Similarly, armour is only obtainable via the black market.(edited)

The resurrectionists are a Jiroshi discipline, who raise the dead back to life.  The noble families each have their own resurrectionists, and there are others who practice the art. Their usual duties are two fold; to quickly resurrect Jiroshi before their souls depart their bodies at dusk, and to create and lead the dead legions that the Jiroshi utilise.  Because the Jiroshi prefer to keep their blood pure, they typically only fornicate with other Jiroshi of strong bloodlines.  Because of this, the Jiroshi population is very small.  The art of resurrection was investigated and mastered in order to preserve the nobler families and allow the highest of the Jiroshi population to grow.  However, many families now even resurrect their slaves after they have been driven to death, to be pushed to death over and over again in servitude that only ends when their bodies are so ruined they can no longer use them.  It was also discovered that many older corpses could be resurrected too, with varying results.  The resurrectionists soon realised that some of the undead were very suitable as warriors and slaves, and so lots of houses maintain private legions of undead and slave kabals.  Most will only keep those that have little intelligence remaining to them, and that respond well to command; some houses will keep those that return insane and volatile, using them as shock troops on the battlefield and entertainment in the fighting pits; some houses even keep the few undead that retain their intelligence, using them for many tasks

Nephilim children of the God of Midnight, Jiro

The Jiroshi grow horns in place of ears, though it is believed they still harbour acoustic hearing properties.  They are tall, resting between the muscular Nidean frame and taller but more delicate Reyvaani frame.  They are originally born from their father's human concubines, and their children from theirs.  Now they frequently have Jiroshi concubines in place of human.

The Jiroshi and much of the human population of the Jiroshi Continent live within vast.hive cities. The Jiroshi keep their blood as pure as.They can, avoiding mating with humans, only when the bloodlines need it, in which case they have men and women essentially 'enslaved' for the task.  The human population is not enslaved.as.such, but the Jiroshi regime gives all of the power in the hive.cities to the Jiroshi and.none to the men, forcing the men to bend to their masters will.
